Attending School Information - updated 8.39pm 22/3/20
Mar 20, 2020

If you have been notified by school text that your child is eligible for a place due to Key Worker status or as vulnerable child this information concerns you.

This article email sets out the arrangements we have been able to put in place at such short notice for next week. Please be aware they are subject to change. We will be open over the Easter holiday, but not bank holiday, and details for those two weeks will be sent out next week.

Provided enough staff stay well we will endeavour to meet your requirements as we go forward. If you find you do not need a previously requested day, please do let us know with as much notice as possible so we can review the number of staff we actually need and minimise staff exposure to possible infection.

If only one of the parents/guardians in the house are a key worker or home working is possible please do all you can to keep your child/children at home. Whilst some schools are only offering places to families where both parents/guardians are key workers, we hope to continue offering it to families with only one for as long as possible and so the need to minimise available staff to infection is very important.

Please email with the days you need next week. Full and half days are available.

The day will start at 8.30am and finish at 5pm,  although you can take your child home earlier if you wish. Half days are 8.30am-1pm and 1pm-5pm
All children wait on the bottom playground (not before 8.15am) where they will be taken to classrooms by the teachers. Children will come to the bottom playground at the end of the day to met you.
Bring packed lunch, water bottle, mid afternoon snack, trainers, coat and wellies/other shoes that can get muddy every day.
Bring home learning books in each day.
The children will follow a programme of learning and activities that will mirror as closely as possible the home learning.
The school behaviour policy and all other rules applies.
Wear non-school uniform and all items named.

Please explain to your children that next week will resemble a typical school week as much as possible.

Thank you for your patience this information and we look forward to supporting you all in the vital work you are doing.

Please continue to monitor the website and your email and texts for updates and we will be emailing you each week for your requirements for the following week.

Best wishes
Jeremy Cooper and all the staff
