Carnival Queen Disco 19th May
Carnival Queen disco will be starting from 19:00 on Friday 19th of May at Appledore Social Club during which the judges need to select the Carnival Queen, her attendants, two fairy Queens and a young pirate. The Carnival is Saturday 13th August. Please read on to find out more…
Carnival Queen disco will be starting from 19:00 on Friday 19th of May at Appledore Social Club.
Appledore Pirates (an organisation that is VERY supportive of our school) host a Disco which is open to everyone, during which the Appledore Pirates Judges (independent) will make their appointments for the following:
•1 x Carnival Queen
•2 x Queen Attendants
•2 x Fairy Queens
•1 x Young Pirate – who leads the Appledore Carnival with the Flag Bearer
The Entry Criteria to be Carnival Queen or one of Her Attendants is open to:
•Pupils who live within Appledore.
•Who are past or present Pupils of Appledore Primary School.
Winners are requested to be available for:
•Appledore Carnival (typically 2nd week in August) &
•Bideford Carnival (typically 2nd week in September).
All dresses and costumes for the winning Carnival Queen and Attendants are supplied by the Appledore Pirates
